ACTIVITIES
A variety of social activities are enjoyed by the members. Thursday is mainly a social day where members can take part in discussions, play games or just chat to friends. Six trips are organised every year; members choose them from a great variety offered. Places visited in the last couple of years include; Hampton Court, the theatre, the zoo, the seaside and pub lunches. Other events include the occasional disco and, of course, the Christmas celebrations. The Freedom Centre also offers a number of learning opportunities to its members. They include courses in the following subject areas - some of which are accredited and lead to a recognised qualification. Our courses are delivered by professional tutors.
