NEWS
The Rotary Club Disco was a great success and
was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Great company, great
atmosphere and great food.
Everybody is looking forward to the trip away
and the visit to Bristol zoo - we await the photos!
During the visit to the National Gallery time
was taken out for refreshments in Covent Garden. The exhibition was
brilliant and everyone enjoyed it. The next trip is eagerly awaited.
A new concrete patio area has been laid and
funded by The Round Table of Sheppey. Round Table members rolled up
their sleeves and spent the weekend clearing the site and constructing the
enlarged seating area that has been specifically designed to accommodate
wheelchair users. Everyone at the Centre would like to express their
appreciation of a wonderful job well done.
Education and Training
A group of Freedom Centre members has recently
started their first accredited course in information technology. New
CLAIT is a level 1 course that encompasses a range of IT and computing
skills.
